Anti-ragging Cell

Anti-Ragging Cell should be one of the important part of Educational Institution’s mechanism. As per the guidelines of UGC under the Act of 1956, which is modified as UGC regulations on curbing the menace of Ragging in higher Educational Institutions, 2009, establishment of Anti-Ragging Cell is very compulsory. SGI have established Anti Ragging Cell headed by Director/Principal of the College with 05 Senior Faculty members.

Soft Skills Programme

Soft skills most commonly used word now a day in education & industrial sector. Soft Skills are a combination of various skills like people skills, social skills, communication skills, character or personality traits, attitudes, career attributes, social intelligence and emotional intelligence quotients, among others, that enable people to navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve.

Student-related Seminar/Conferences/Workshops/Camps etc.

SGI organizes National & International Seminars/Workshops/Conferences on regular basis to make SGI students fruitful experts. Management of such events handed over to students to learn real time experiences.

Internal Complaint Committee (ICC)

The ICC’s objective is to guarantee that students to keep up discipline in the class rooms/tutorials/Laboratories/Seminar halls, campus and the grounds. Individuals from the ICC would normally go on rounds to every place of campus to make note of blemished conduct and to ensure that the college grounds is liberated from ragging and other non acceptable items. The ICC would be engaged to make extreme disciplinary move against such students enjoying such upsetting exercises. Additionally for the students to feel guaranteed that the ICC will treat the protest with affectability and privacy when once the objection is made.
