With over 15% contribution in the GDP of the country, there is a huge need for Agricultural Scientists and Officers to increase the crop yield and productivity to meet the current demand for food crops and economically important crops & plants in India all over the world. Students are trained in Agricultural education which is a broad term which includes disciplines like Agriculture (Agronomy), Veterinary Science, Forestry, Fisheries, Horticulture & Home Science.
